It is OFFICIAL! We are in the running for Kansas City’s Coolest Office! The KC Business Journal’s “Coolest Office Spaces” contest is on and the voting runs through Oct. 16th for Division 3 of the contest. That means we need EVERYONE to get on board with voting and share, Share, SHARE as much as you can!The new Retail Success headquarters in Overland Park features a multitude of unique design elements that deliver on both form and function within a modern, industrial design. It was designed to increase efficiencies for all departments by creating an open-plan work environment but still embraces personal workspaces.
The building is also outfitted with the latest audiovisual technology the entire building fosters endless creativity and innovation. A simple swipe on your mobile-enabled device and you can instantly present its content onto any of the eighteen large displays around the building. This is great for impromptu meetings or whole office presentations. In the end, the entire space was designed around collaborating, sharing and executing and that is exactly what we plan to keep doing.
To get a feel for the space, all you need to do is step into the lobby and reception area, and you will be greeted by our 5′ x 15′ “Previously Driven” commissioned wall art, constructed by WeldHouse of Phoenix, AZ, built entirely from retired car and truck hoods.
Just off the lobby, we have a 40 seat training center typically used for larger clients that require a more personalized hands-on onboarding process with specialized training, but the space is also used for other chamber, charity, and professional events.
Right next to our training center you will find our Cafe with seating for 28 people so you can always find a quiet spot or belly up with some teammates for some cross-office banter. The entire space is anchored by a 100″ quad screen tv display accompanied by a 30′ harvest table that serves nicely for our catered lunches and open house events. Along with food, we provide several local beers on tap and fresh premium coffee.
On the south side, you will find our state-of-the-art gym complete with stair steppers, ellipticals, and treadmills but also, a full range of free weights, kettles, and machines. Pretty much all you need from a light walk to a barn raising training routine.
Travel to the east end of the building to enjoy the privacy of the executive suite complete with gas fireplaces, private bathrooms, and the S&S Lounge’s award-winning bar. Well, at least in some circles.
Retail Success’s tagline reads “Advancing Retail Through Technology and Innovation,” and this new headquarters precisely emanates that statement. We employ the latest technologies enabling dozens of collaboration areas anywhere you might find yourself. Employees can control the output of any display and move music or audio across fourteen zones from any mobile device. It’s empowering to experience some of the same technologies we deliver to our clients within our own walls.
